Justice-Involved Peer Recovery

What: Certified Peer Recovery Specialists (CPRS) work with justice-involved individuals to create and support plans to address recovery needs as clients transition back into the community. 

Who: Justice-involved individuals with substance use disorder who will be released from incarceration within 120 days. 

How: While incarcerated, a team member will meet with them at least three times, provide recovery materials, check on court appearances, set up a messaging system, and create a plan for recovery upon release.
