Heroin

Heroin is an opioid drug that is highly addictive. It can cause many health problems for users including the following:

    • liver or kidney disease
    • collapsed veins
    • abscesses

Synthetic Drugs

Synthetic drugs are banned by the US Congress, by the Tennessee House and Senate (and signed by the Governor), and by local ordinance in all of Sullivan County. The health risks include the following:

  • Seizures
  • Paranoia
  • Rapid heart beat and high blood pressure

Methamphetamine

Methamphetamine (meth) is another highly addictive drug that can cause numerous health effects. These health issues include:

    • Extreme weight loss
    • Paranoia and hallucinations
    • Severe dental problems
